American Dreamz is a strange movie! It’s funny, but kind of dark as well. And it has quite diverse endings for each character. For those of you who don’t want to go to the trouble of actually watching the movie, here’s a (cryptic) summary (WARNING: SPOILERS ahead!):

1) Baddie #1 owns & hosts an Idols-type TV show. He only cares about himself.
2) Baddie #2 wants to win this Idols-contest at all costs.
3) Goodie #1 loves Baddie #2, but doesn’t realize she’s only using him to win the show.
4) Goodie #2 is a terrorist, but is having second thoughts.
5) Goodie #3 is the president, and will appear on the show.
6) Baddie #3 wants to control Goodie #3.
7) Goodie #2 is ordered to kill Goodie #3 on the show.
8) Stuff happens. Contestants sing.
9) Baddie #2 sleeps with Baddie #1.
10) Goodie #1 finds out.
11) Goodie #2 decides not to kill Goodie #3.
12) Goodie #1 finds Goodie #2′s bomb and decides to kill himself and Baddie #1.
13) Stuff explodes.
14) Result: Goodie/Baddie #1 die, Goodie/Baddie #2 become famous, Goodie #3 fires Baddie #3.

So, there’s something in there for each and every Goodie or Baddie type of person. If you do watch the movie, don’t overanalyze it. Just take it at face value – a dark satire. It’s very entertaining, though, so I would definitely recommend it.
