Everybody has their favourite movies. And there always seems to be a lot of debate about which movies are the best. Is there really such a thing as THE best movie of all time? I don’t think so. How “good” a movie is really depends on the viewer’s taste or preferences. So it’s actually quite a subjective matter, and any arguments about which movie is better than which other movie is quite useless.

So, what are my top 3 favourite movies of all time? In no particular order:

  • The 5th Element: I love Sci-Fi, and this movie combines the genre with a good plot, lots of action, emotion, and humour. It doesn’t get much better than this.
  • Memento: This movie is one of the most mentally stimulating movies I’ve ever seen. And the concept (i.e. the scenes being shown in reverse order) is just so original.
  • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: This is also a really awesome idea, turned into an enjoyable story that makes you think, feel, and laugh.
